February 5, 2009 More Pics

Here's a few older pics back from December as well. December 22, 2008

Haven liked to roll on over and touch our Christmas tree. Shae kept moving her away, but she never got too, close to it anyway.

What a pretty Christmas present Haven is.

Haven loves her dolls she got at Christmas. She talks to them and gives them kisses. She also did really well opening her own presents.

Dear Friends and Family,

It's been about a month again and time to post. Haven is doing great. She'll be 8 months next Wednesday. Time is flying. She's showing off her first 2 teeth a lot with lots of smiles. She's eating puffs (Gerber banana puffs), she's still rolling everywhere, spinning in a circle on the ground (on her tummy), getting stronger at sitting (still isn't too, fond of it--hence the problem of learning the skill), and is starting to combine the inch worm and army crawl methods to get moving even more. She's jabbering away and some of it even sounds like "Mama" and "Dada". We keep telling the boys that "no, she hasn't said her first word yet," as they come running to us all the time with a report, "but soon." I'll attach some pics if blogger cooperates.

It has been a rougher week here in our household. Mike and Shae had food poisoning (best guess) or some really nasty tummy bug for most of the week that has left us pretty weak. Mike's been fighting the cold type flu all at the same time. It makes us all the more thankful for the good health everyone has enjoyed most of the rest of the winter. We need to make a quick recovery before Mike starts on-call week on Monday.

We're also very sad today. Some friends of ours from church are pregnant with twins and lost one of the baby girls today. Allie is in heaven and the other baby girl is struggling. If you could remember Chad and Jessica and their remaining baby in your prayers we'd be grateful. They're up at Mayo Clinic.
